Welcome to the new Birdshot website — home of Houston's Best Disc Golf Events. Our goal is to make this site a one stop resource for Houston area disc golfers. 2/18 - Day-of-Course 4ever

It's that time of the year again; time to have a tourney on a course no one has ever played before. Time to bring out the baskets and set up a course for two rounds of disc golf. It's time for Day-of-Course 4ever.

This year Birdshot/DG Proshop is very excited to bring one of our most unique tournaments to Friendswood, Texas. We will be playing along the winding banks of Clear Creek through a property that will eventually become a permanent course. The property has everything a disc golfer needs to make their round fall apart. It's got elevation, trees, windows, gaps, fairways, lines and a winding creek that ten of the holes play along. Holes run from a few short ones under 225' to four 500' plus holes along the creek.

You'll be watching your score increase with all the OB but you won't mind. The opportunity to play on such a beautiful property will more than make up for all your lost discs.

You've probably got a pretty good idea which is the nearest course to you, but say you're in an unfamiliar part of town and you want to find a course nearby. Well, if you happen to have an iPhone (or other GPS/Webkit capable smartphone) can now use your phone to located the nearest disc golf course with Birdshot's Guide to Houston Area Disc Golf.
